Neon and fluorescent ink preview
Visualise high-energy inks accurately
Visualis3R previews neon and fluorescent inks as high-impact visual elements without claiming colour accuracy.
Neon inks demand attention — Visualis3R shows their impact
Visualis3R visualises neon and fluorescent inks as high-energy elements that stand apart from standard CMYK, helping designers preview contrast, emphasis, and visual hierarchy within a design.
Built on the same color-separation expertise behind Touch7® — the industry-leading neon and extended-gamut ink technology — Visualis3R supports neon and fluorescent inks from all major press manufacturers, without being tied to any single ink set or color library.
There is no ISO standard for neon inks. Each press platform and ink supplier produces fluorescent colors with different hue, strength, and interaction characteristics. Visualis3R reflects this reality by allowing neon inks to be configured, blended, and previewed based on press-specific behaviour rather than assuming a single “correct” neon color.
When neon inks are combined with CMYK, metallics, white, or printed onto different substrates, their appearance can change dramatically due to trapping behaviour, ink fusion, and material absorption. Visualis3R visualises these interactions as design-intent layers, helping users anticipate contrast shifts, density changes, and visual balance.
In the real world, fluorescent inks interact with ultraviolet light; on screen, Visualis3R represents their relative brightness, contrast, trapping interaction, and substrate response — not physical UV emission or contract color accuracy.
